Are you ready to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Because
of Heller Day?! “No,” you say? You didn’t realize it was December
already?! You don’t have a dime to your
name because you spent all your money on Black Friday? You just had a run of October-November birthdays
and parties to pay for? (That was
me.)
Well, I have good news. You still have 21 days to get ready. And, the even better news?! Kindness doesn’t have to cost a thing! And, BEST OF ALL?! Kindness PAYS YOU BACK!!
I heard a song today.
I know you’ve heard it too. It
was, The Little Drummer Boy. It’s
definitely a top fiver for me as far as Christmas songs go. I used to sing it to Heller when he was a
toddler. He loved to sing along, dance, and beat his drum while I sang. If I sang
it for you, I guarantee you would not find it a kindness, but Heller loved my
singing, and he rewarded me with his laughter and music.
The song is about kindness.
The Little Drummer Boy had nothing, and yet he gave. He shared what he had. And what a reward! Baby Jesus “smiled at him!” Whew!
That would be enough for me.
